For those that doubt the Day of Resurrection, Allaah Subhaanahu Wa Ta’aala is reaffirming that there is no scope for uncertainty; this day is indisputable and will surely occur. The day when the truth will be laid out bare and everything will be exposed, there will be no place to flee or escape to. Regretting on that day will be of no avail; excuses will fail to safeguard or shelter a person from breaking free and escaping judgement.
This Surah (Al-Qiyaamah) draws on the utter despondency and regret that the people will have on the Day of Judgement, those who rejected the message and disobeyed Allaah.
